Types of Complex Plasma

Complex plasma can be categorized by the methods in which it is produced. In particular, what source is used to generate the background plasma and how the dust particles obtain their charge can be used to distinguish the different types of complex plasma. In figure 7, a classification table for complex plasma is presented.
