Financial statement

The final income and expenditure statement for 1997 indicates a surplus which is almost entirely attributable to funds received from the Pro Vice Chancellor, which were the same in 1997 ($50,000) as in 1996. The E & F White Conference Grant from the Academy of Sciences was used to fund a Scintillation Workshop in August.
