Dear colleagues,

The 9th Australian Exoplanet Workshop will take place September 27-29 2023 at the University of Sydney, NSW. One day of the workshop is planned to be focused on exoplanet-oriented instrumentation with a focus on photonics and space telescopes, and one day on the latest exoplanet science produced by Australia’s exoplanet community. The third day (Sep 29) will be reserved for breakout sessions for discussions and for fostering collaborations across institutions.

The workshop’s keynote talk will be given by Marshall Perrin (STScI), former JWST deputy telescope scientist and co-founder of STScI’s Russell B. Makidon Optics Laboratory.

This workshop will be jointly hosted by the Sydney Institute for Astronomy (SIfA) and Institute of Photonics and Optical Science (IPOS). More details to follow.

On behalf of the SOC and LOC,
Eckhart Spalding
