Subject: ACAMAR Visiting Fellowships - call for applications

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the ACAMAR<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/7TVHCMwGxOt242r0Lhklipc?domain=acamar.org.au> Advisory Committee, I am pleased to announce a call for applications for the ACAMAR Visiting Fellowship program<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/VaVtCL7EwMfknkWpgFBBQYk?domain=acamar.org.au/>. This call follows two successful rounds in 2020-21 and 2022-23. It will enable distinguished Chinese researchers to make extended visits to Australia in 2024 and enhance collaborations on areas of common interest within astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to visit Australia for up to three months and are encouraged to visit multiple institutions. Financial support of up to $15k (AUD) per applicant is available to cover travel and living expenses. Co-investment from Host Institutions is highly valued. Applicants are responsible for securing the approval of their home institutions/organisations to undertake the ACAMAR Visiting Fellowship. This includes securing a visa to visit Australia and authorisation to conduct collaborative research.

I encourage you to consider whether your institution would be interested in hosting a Visiting Fellow. Please share this opportunity with your Chinese collaborators. For more information, see the attached documents or the following pages:
