Installing the new version

If you have obtained an updated version of the software, here is how to install it. Note that this is assuming you have already installed the public version of the software. If you hadn't installed the public version, please do so first. the public version is available here.

Unzip the archive file and copy all the contents to your Program Files\Cudos folder - this will update a few registry keys so that you just need to double click to open Fourier Bessel or structure files.

Right click 'updatereg.inf' and select install.

For users using emacs as a text editor, I wrote an emacs parameter file environment that include syntax highlighting and in-line running of the software. It is available here:File:Par-mode.el.

Note that installing on some Windows 7 machines can be troublesome; see Windows 7 issues.
